could anyone tell me if this is split tracks? thanks x

3.Posted by raven2007 (torrent uploader) on Apr 08 2008 at 19:51

it has one large mp3 for each cd, but i have included the cue files so if u burn it using that it will seperate the large mp3 into tracks for you ;)

i used imgburn (www.imgburn.com) its free :) download it, install it, right click the cue file, left click "Burn with imgburn", job done.

The result is 3 cd's with full seperated tracks with no gaps so u dont get any interuption in the music ;)

15.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 11 2008 at 16:54

Sounds like a good file, and i want to download, however if i want this on itunes as seperate tracks, how will i do it? Does the program you said about still work, or only if burning onto disk.

16.Posted by djwilson on Apr 11 2008 at 21:10

http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555 RAVEN it says to create a 'CUE' file but ive got them! so do i follow these instructions or not?

HELP!!!! ANY1

19.Posted by raven2007 (torrent uploader) on Apr 13 2008 at 17:18

@18 download and install imgburn, right click the cue file and left click "Burn with ImgBurn" it really is that simple ;)

20.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 13 2008 at 23:07

It doesnt come up with Burn with Imgburn for me, just compress and all that stuff. Dunno why, but can you turn these into indivdual tracks just to store on your computer, and not to put on a disk, as i want to split them up and put them on itunes.

21.Posted by _MaDMAn_ on Apr 14 2008 at 00:22

thanks for the upload. little problem with the cues though ;-) easy fix

right click on each cue file and open with notepad

the file name on line 4 must match the name of the mp3

so cue number 1 line four reads

FILE "301-va-dave_pearce_trance_anthems_2008.mp3" MP3

where it should read

FILE "CD 1 of 3 - Dave Pearce - Trance Anthems 2008.mp3" MP3

edit each cue accordingly to match each mp3 title

also line 12 of cue one has a syntax error

TITLE "Encore Une Fois (Original 12" Vocal Mix)"

should be

TITLE "Encore Une Fois (Original 12 Vocal Mix)"

no "" in the file name as it confuses any burning app or player
you can then burn with your burning application, nero etc

also you can play cue files with foobar player, its free to use and will play anything http://www.foobar2000.org/

hope this helps

MM

22.Posted by _MaDMAn_ on Apr 14 2008 at 00:52

just to add you can load the cue with easy CD-DA and extract all the tracks seperately into folder with the audio converter.

http://www.mininova.org/tor/1073811
:)

23.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 14 2008 at 09:53

For use on iTunes is that?

24.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 14 2008 at 10:02

Ok MadMan i have downloaded this, gone to the Audio Converter bit, dropped in the Cue file and gone through the settings. I click convert files and it just says Error. Why is it doing this, do i need to drag the main music file into somewhere aswell?

25.Posted by brad27 on Apr 14 2008 at 16:46

I feel stupid, but i am still struggling to turn these into separate files. I have downloaded both of the programs and can get neither to work. MadMan, i downloaded that and it does not extract the files separately, and raven, each time i attempt to put them onto this cd, it shows an error message.

26.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 14 2008 at 17:44

Same Brad. I use the one Madman said and put in the cue file, and its coems up with all the song names sperately, but becauseits not the audio file it has nothing to convert, I need to know how you seperate them. no just view the names.

27.Posted by eliott21 on Apr 14 2008 at 18:13

Can anyone please tell me how to use ImgBurn to split the tracks? I am stuck.
Thankyou

28.Posted by RootZero on Apr 14 2008 at 20:44

Use "Cue Splitter", much easier than making coasters. :)

http://www.medieval.it/content/view/28/70/

29.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 14 2008 at 21:10

So how does this work?

30.Posted by RootZero on Apr 14 2008 at 22:07

Really simple and quick.

Go to File -> Open Cue File...

Click "Slpit" and choose where to output the individual files to. Done. :)

Then import into iTunes, WMP, etc.

All the other options are for changing the way the mp3's are named and tagged if you want to change them.

31.Posted by FobFreak on Apr 14 2008 at 22:12

omfg this is driving me crazy
thnx for the upload but i dno track names cos its all one loong track of music that doesnt make sence cos its as if its playing off a tape
can anyone explain how to actually make this thing work without mucking up three CDs... tnk u

32.Posted by brad27 on Apr 15 2008 at 01:26

Rootzero's link does it perfect, except for one thing, it didnt import into itunes in order!! Just spent ages making sure it flowed into one anothr again...ugh

33.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 15 2008 at 09:20

what do you mean flowed in?

34.Posted by AaronMc on Apr 15 2008 at 10:39

right i got all the tracks as singles using the medievil program, perfect program and easy! Now.. i understand what you mean by they dont flow in when you put them into itunes, this is just because the tracks haved been cut of at these times. So i dont know how you can make them flow into each other again, ah well im not bothered about that!

35.Posted by FobFreak on Apr 15 2008 at 10:48

ok guys I've got this running (in order Brad27* :) )

1. Download http://www.medieval.it/content/view/28/70/
2. Right click "cd 1 of 3 Dave Pearce Trance Anthems 2008"
3. Open With
4. Choose Program
5. Browse (Unless cue Splitter isnt already there, if it is open it from here)
6. Select cd1 of 3 Dave...
7. Click Split (at the bottom left corner)
8. Choose your destination of where you want the tracks to be
9. Repeat this for each Disc.
10. Import onto by pressing F3 etc (or itune or watever)

I think I've made it as clear as possible
*btw >>> To get it in order just sort by File Name in WMP not sure about itunes.
Thanks loads to Raven2007 and RootZero.
You dont need Notepad or watever long code to get this to work
Thanks again... :)
